ISLAMABAD — In a strategic move to reinforce Pakistan’s growing technology ecosystem, leadership from the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) met with top officials from Ignite – National Technology Fund on August 7 to advance the development of the P@SHA Startup Hub and identify new avenues for institutional collaboration.
The high-level meeting was led by Usman Akbar, Chair of the P@SHA Startup & Entrepreneurship Committee and Central Executive Committee (CEC) Member, alongside Muhammad Bilal Abbasi, Chief Executive Officer of Ignite.

The primary objective of the dialogue was to align P@SHA’s industry-led initiatives with Ignite’s public sector venture frameworks. By combining P@SHA’s private-sector reach with Ignite’s funding mechanisms—such as the Pakistan Startup Fund—the initiative aims to streamline support for early-stage founders, accelerate venture building, and position Pakistan as a competitive global tech hub.
Both organizations reaffirmed their shared vision to sustain ongoing collaboration, scale the impact of the newly launched P@SHA Startup Hub, and expand resource access for tech entrepreneurs nationwide.
