ISLAMABAD — Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, Prof. Ahsan Iqbal, has extended his deepest condolences and grief over the martyrdom of 11 Pakistan Army personnel who lost their lives in a recent terrorist attack.
In a statement, the Minister strongly condemned the heinous act, describing it as a cowardly attempt to disrupt the country’s peace. He expressed heartfelt sympathy with the families of the fallen soldiers, emphasizing that the immense sacrifices made by the nation’s martyrs in the line of duty would never be forgotten.
Unwavering Solidarity with Armed Forces
Prof. Ahsan Iqbal reaffirmed the government’s and the nation’s unwavering solidarity with the armed forces of Pakistan. He emphasized that such acts of aggression only strengthen the collective resolve to eradicate terrorism and safeguard the country’s sovereignty.
“Pakistan stands united with its security forces. We firmly reiterate our commitment to protecting the peace, security, and sovereignty of our homeland against all threats,” the Minister stated.
