Prime Minister’s Youth Programme and Sindh Governor Partner to Drive Youth Empowerment Across Sindh

KARACHI / ISLAMABAD — Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, met with the Governor of Sindh, Nehal Hashmi, alongside PMYP Sindh Coordinator Fahad Shafiq, to strategize on expanding youth empowerment initiatives throughout Sindh.

The high-level meeting focused on deepening collaboration between the federal youth leadership and provincial leadership to connect young people with education, skill development, entrepreneurship, productive employment, and digital opportunities.

  • Digital & IT Opportunities: Expanding access to digital skills training, IT infrastructure, and tech certifications to prepare young individuals for the evolving global digital economy.
  • Entrepreneurship & Financial Support: Enhancing access to youth loans, business incubation, and venture support to help aspiring young entrepreneurs establish sustainable enterprises.
  • Skill Development & Vocational Training: Aligning technical training modules with market demands to ensure certifications directly lead to employment.
  • Productive Employment Pathways: Opening structured avenues for internships, job placement, and career development across both the public and private sectors.

Expanding Provincial Outreach

Governor Nehal Hashmi and PMYP Chairman Rana Mashhood emphasized that federal youth welfare schemes will be deployed systematically across both urban and rural centers in Sindh. The joint coordination aims to ensure merit-based, equitable access to training, funding, and career tools for youth in every district of the province.
