PESHAWAR — As part of the nationwide #PlantforPakistan2026 climate initiative, the Green Youth Movement (GYM) Club of the Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences), Peshawar, in collaboration with EcoNexus, organized a major tree plantation drive at the University of Agriculture, Peshawar (UAP).
The collaborative effort aims to combat climate change, enhance local biodiversity, and promote environmental sustainability across academic campuses in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Over 500 Saplings Planted for Campus Hybrid Forest
The drive drew participation from faculty members, administration officials, and student volunteers representing both IMSciences and UAP, demonstrating strong institutional backing for green initiatives.

The event marks an early success in the #PlantforPakistan2026 movement initiated by CSR Forum Pakistan. The overarching campaign encourages businesses, civic organizations, academic institutions, and individual citizens to lead direct environmental action towards building a greener, more climate-resilient Pakistan.
Ways to Join the Campaign
- Organizational Drives: Companies, educational institutions, and community groups can host collective tree plantation events with staff, students, or volunteers. Organizations registering their event through the campaign form will have their efforts highlighted across CSR Forum Pakistan’s official platforms.
- Individual Action: Citizens can join by planting a minimum of five trees, documenting their activity, and submitting verification through the online campaign portal. Recognized contributors will receive an official Certificate of Participation or Appreciation.
