ISLAMABAD — The Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with the DAMAN (Development, Awareness & Management of Natural Resources) Organization to accelerate youth empowerment, technical skills development, and sustainable employment opportunities across Pakistan.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by PMYP Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, alongside senior officials from both organizations.

The agreement establishes a collaborative framework to bridge the gap between skill training and economic self-sufficiency, focusing on sustainable resource management and capacity building.
- Market-Oriented Skills Development: Designing specialized training modules tailored to emerging industries, rural entrepreneurship, and natural resource management.
- Sustainable Employment Pathways: Facilitating job creation and self-employment initiatives for youth, particularly in underdeveloped regions.
- Youth Capacity & Community Engagement: Integrating youth into environmental sustainability projects, natural resource management awareness, and local development drives.
- Integration with PMYP Initiatives: Aligning local community development programs with nationwide PMYP platforms—including the Digital Youth Hub—to improve reach and accessibility.
Expanding the Youth Empowerment Network
The collaboration strengthens PMYP’s ongoing efforts to partner with non-governmental organizations, civil society, and international agencies. By leveraging DAMAN Organization’s expertise in community mobilization and natural resource management, the partnership aims to provide young Pakistanis with scalable pathways toward sustainable livelihoods.
