KARACHI — In a major push to accelerate the province’s digital economy, leading tech training institute and P@SHA member AshreiTech has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Sindh.
Under the agreement, AshreiTech will spearhead the Digital Skills Training Program (DSTP) to provide high-impact technical education to 800 young individuals across Sindh. The initiative is being implemented in strategic collaboration with Sapphire Consulting Services.
Key Objectives of the Digital Skills Initiative:
- Bridging the Industry-Academia Gap: The program is meticulously designed to equip youth with modern, market-relevant digital capabilities and essential soft skills required by global tech employers.
- Curriculum Focus: Training tracks will focus on future-ready domains including tech administration, enterprise solutions, and foundational professional skills to prepare participants for immediate employment.
- Empowering the Local Ecosystem: By building a skilled workforce, the partnership directly supports the sustainable growth of Sindh’s tech sector and expands freelance earning potential within the province.
Building a Future-Ready Workforce
The collaborative effort highlights a shared vision between public and private sectors to invest in human capital. The specialized training seeks to turn the youth bulge into an economic asset by offering zero-barrier entry into advanced ICT fields.

Through this partnership under the DSTP, we are transforming young minds into digital innovators who can actively contribute to the technology landscape,” representatives noted during the signing ceremony.
The Pakistan IT industry body, P@SHA, warmly congratulated AshreiTech on achieving this milestone, celebrating it as a significant victory for tech-driven youth empowerment in the country.
