ISLAMABAD — In line with the government’s vision to empower the younger generation, the Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, held a strategic meeting with Mr. Abdul Moiz Jadoon, Focal Person for Youth Development Centers (YDCs).
The high-level discussion focused on formulating comprehensive strategies to strengthen youth-centric initiatives and enhance the operational role of Youth Development Centers across the country.
Key Highlights of the Meeting:
- Revamping Youth Centers: The leaders discussed upgrading existing Youth Development Centers to serve as modern hubs for skill acquisition, digital literacy, and civic engagement.
- Expanding Reach: Strategies were deliberated to establish new centers in underserved areas, ensuring equal access to growth opportunities for youth across all regions.
- Capacity Building: Plans were reviewed to introduce specialized training modules, mentorship programs, and career counseling services within the YDCs to better prepare the youth for the modern job market.
