ISLAMABAD — In a major step toward enhancing technical education in Pakistan, the Chairman of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), Mr. Qamar ul Islam Raja, received Ms. Heidi Smith, Director of Public Engagement at the U.S. Embassy, along with a delegation of embassy representatives at the NAVTTC headquarters.
The high-level meeting focused on strengthening Pakistan–U.S. collaboration in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), with a specialized emphasis on workforce development and modernizing skills in the mining sector.
